The I-V600 allows the I-V curve of modules and strings up to 1500V and 40A to be plotted in the field. Once the I-V curve has been plotted, thanks to the module database (user-updatable), the I-V600 compares the measured data with the nominal values provided by the manufacturer of the module/chain under test to return a clear OK/NO OK response. The communication with the SOLAR-03 remote unit guaranteed up to 100 m (in free field), and the recording function in case of impossible communication (obstacles such as floors and walls, concrete structures, etc.), allow the I-V curve to be plotted regardless of the environment in which the installation is located .
The I-V600 plots the I-V curve of mono and bifacial modules. According to the technical specification IEC TS 60904-1-2, in addition to the front radiation, the I-V600 measures the back radiation by means of two different sensors (to take into account the non-uniformity of the radiation on the back side).
The I-V600 handles up to 3 solar radiation reference cells, without the need to configure a large number of parameters and with a high risk of misconfiguration. The I-V600 automatically recognizes the calibration parameters of the connected reference cells. Running out of batteries is every professional’s worst nightmare. Finding yourself without batteries in the middle of nowhere, with a job due in a matter of hours, would put anyone in a bind.
Inverting the graphics to correctly read the display even when hanging the instrument upside down from the module rails, Wi-Fi connection to smartphones and tablets, and microSD card slot for memory expansion round out the features provided by the I-V600.
